SUNDAY SERMON: Walking in Dominion

image

Oh how well the Israelites walked in dominion,  out of years of misery and slavery in Egypt into the promised land! It was a walk of victory,  out out years of shackles,  lashes and endless labour to unworthy masters.

This could be your story too, as you find new purpose in life, redemption and source true power from the source.

David,  in Psalms 114:1-8 sums it up nicely,  stating that:
‘When Israel went out of Egypt,
The house of Jacob from a people of strange language,
Judah became His sanctuary,
And Israel His dominion.

The sea saw it and fled;
Jordan turned back.

The mountains skipped like rams,
The little hills like lambs.

What ails you, O sea, that you fled?
O Jordan, that you turned back?

O mountains, that you skipped like rams?
O little hills, like lambs?

Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord,
At the presence of the God of Jacob,

Who turned the rock into a pool of water,
The flint into a fountain of waters.’

What can one do to walk in such dominion, especially as a Christian in 2019? There are many afflictions and issues around us, that without the proper mindset,  knowledge and application of Godly principles and wisdom,  we would surely perish. To walk victorious with songs on on lips, joy in our hearts and spring in our steps like deer’s hind feet, we need to:
1. Align our hearts to God
2. Have repentant hearts
3. Fix our hearts to God
4. Cock ourcinnercears to listen to God’s voice speaking to us
4. Blair and cherish God’s presence wherever we are;
5. Walk away from people with a foreign tongue
6. Have a higher and well serviced altar with God
7. Have God as your protector.
